Question CZ RAMI 2075 BD? Voices of experience?

Just found this pistol... I really really like it!!! But it looks like it's probably too chunky. What say you's?

I own a lot of Cz but not that one - go the Cz forum and there will be plenty who can give you some guidance on that model . Brian /EFR

I have an aluminum framed RAMI....I really, really love this gun. Chunky? Yes, but it is double stack and can hold 14 rounds...very, very easy to CC in a IWB holster (I use a Bianchi and Don Hume....the Hume is very nice).

I'v actually used this gun in 3-gun competion...in 9mm, it's fast and low recoil (I reload for it though). It is mucgh, much more accurate than I am...I actually shoot it better than my FNX 40 or Beretta 92....CZ makes an awesome weapon!

Haven't had one in my hand yet but I can say I've never met a CZ I didn't love. It is on my short list.

Anyways I did a little on paper comparison with the Glock 26.

    Glock 26 standard

    MSRP $543
    Real world price @ Buds $499 +shipping
    Weight 1.23 lbs
    Length 6.29"
    Height 4.17"
    Width 1.18“
    Bbl length 3.46“

    CZ 2075 RAMI

    MSRP $595
Real world price @ Buds $535 includes free shipping
    Weight 1.59 lbs
    Length 6.5"
    Height 4.7"
    Width 1.25"
    Bbl length 3.0"

Seems just a slight bit larger all around. I love the options with the RAMI.
With a decocker model like the ginormous picture above that is standard with Tritium sights. The BD.
Or the standard sighted 2075 with traditional DA/SA that can also be converted to a SAO.

There are plenty of upgrades or options for either as well. Triggers, hammers and grips.

They come with both a 10 rd flush mag and an extended grip 14 rd mag. They also accept 15, 16, 18, and 25 rd CZ 75 mags.

I actually played with one earlier this week at a shop in Franklin. I personally have 0 experience with any CZ's, but this felt nice in the hand. It is a little bit heavier than the Glock 26 as was stated, but it feels very balanced and I imagine it would be a lot better for recoil. I toyed with thte idea of purchase...just not ready to spring on anything yet.

They are pretty wide. if they made em in single stack, i'd be all over it.

Agreed... It's probably too chunky for my tastes. I have my eyes on a Bersa 9 Ultra Compact Pro now... http://www.bersa.com/bersa-thunder-Pro-UC-9-duoNM

FWIW....I have a CZ75 and RAMI and love them both. Two of the guns I shoot best with.

Wow, jumping from a CZ to a Bersa?

Not a jump I'd ever consider.
CZ is top notch, Bersa, ehh, not so much.

Size wise, they are almost identical, the CZ is actually a bit slimmer.

Unless you are getting a Bersa for $200 less than a Rami, I think you are going in the wrong direction.

If you are looking for something slim, Beretta Nano?

Ha. Tell me about it. I show no mercy. If the CZ was thinner I'd get it instantly. The Bersa is more of what I'm looking for.
