    Default Glock 31 hmmmm

Ive never been a big fan of polymer handguns nor more specifically Glocks. I've owned a few of each over the years but none hung around to long. I lean towards Sigs, Kimbers and Walthers, none of which are polymer. Recently I picked up a Glock 31 in a deal on a different forum. It's a Gen 3 and I must say that I really like this gun. Dont get me wrong, it's ugly as sin especially when compared to the other guns in my collection. But the dang thing shoots great! I hit the range on Tuesday and my groupings out to 20 yards were nice and tight. It only opened up to the 7 ring at 20 yards, closer it was all 8-10 ring. I normally dont shoot that far (old eyes) but I wanted to see what it could do. I was impressed, not getting rid of my non polymers but impressed just the same. Breaking it down for cleaning was simple, can't ask for more.

Just thought I'd share my thoughts. Not trying to convert anybody, but for once I will be hanging on to a polymer gun.

I got one recently as well and have been very happy with it. I put a 3.5lb connector in it and now the trigger is very nice as well. Great gun!

THe Glock is a military sidearm, it were not designed to be pretty it were designed to be robust, Glad you like the 31, i have the 32, awesome gun and round, i carry mine in the winter when i need a little extra punch/penetration, if i didnt have a 17 too i would get a 31 also, enjoy.

Glock 31 is my personal favorite, mainly its the round used. I don't care for glock triggers or the grip ,but no can deny that they flat perform . You will enjoy it just like the rest of us. Triggers can be taken care of with the rocket kit or go all out and install the fulcrum kit with adjustable pre and over travel.Plenty of other aftermarket accessories availble, shoot it as is or modify till your wallet can't take it any more.

Thanks all, I'm pretty pleased with it. Will be introducing my brothers boy to it his weekend, his first time shooting a Glock. I'm not sure who is looking forward to it more, him or me.

My next pistol will be a G31 once I find the one I'm looking for. I already have a 32 and 33 which I like a lot.
