    Default Guns.......quantity or quality?

With gun control a near certainty if obozo wins, I am curious if any here are putting quantity of guns over quality. ie. One could buy 3 DPMS ARs for the price of one Colt......and they essentially do the same thing. Anyone modifying their planned purchases because of the political horizon?

A few good quality guns and a lot of ammo for each one.

But what if, post gun ban, you have your nice AR stolen? I can speak as someone who has had guns stolen and so do not want to be in the position where I cannot replace what was lost. Hence the thinking of gun redundancy.

.......And a really good, heavy gun safe bolted to the floor or wall for when you're not home and have the potential for having your guns stolen.

Some of both. I've had a complete lower sitting around for a while, and I think its time to put an upper on it.

I've also been kicking around the idea of a Krinkov folder sbr vs. an AR pistol platform. Given that one would require the NFA route where the other would not, and the fact that I already have mags and ammo for one, I am leaning more towards building an AR pistol soon.

My plan is to have my sporting rifles be AR's and stock up on some basic replacement parts and ammo.

    Whatever tickles your fancy...

My favorite line of guns are cheapo single shots. I can buy 8 H&R/NEF shotguns or 4 of their rifles for the price of a $1000 "quality" gun.

Bottom line is buy what you can afford and as much as you can afford, and buy things you are fairly certain you won't second guess yourself on...

Personally though, Id rather have one colt rifle, and a couple of lowers from another manufacturer along with spare parts before I went out and bought 2-3 DPMS rifles.

I have read threads of 2000 lb safes bolted to the floor broken into. One guy lost nearly 100 firearms.

Thats a stupid question. I could have a thousand guns and if they were all stolen and a gun ban was put into place I could not replace any (in terms of functionality).
