p3at clip
anyone carry their p3at using the pocket/small of your back clip or does everyone utilize pocket/ankle holsters?

Re: p3at clip
with the long trigger pull i have always felt safe utilizing the clip in the small of my back but was wondering if anyone has heard of any accidental discharges when doing so?

Re: p3at clip
That's one of the reasons I do not like the clip. I want something to cover that trigger guard. I have not heard of any cases of Accidental discharge with this style of carry but I haven't researched it fully.

Re: p3at clip
I'm with Daycrawler...Never had a problem using just the clip, But also will use a holster on those hot sweaty days.

Re: p3at clip
You could probably use the clip in conjunction with one of those trigger guard covers. Doesn't seem to add any bulk at all. The cord is fastened to a belt loop so that when you draw the gun the cord pulls the trigger guard off. I don't carry this way but a lot of holster makers appear to offer them now. The one pictured is from Raven Concealment.

Re: p3at clip
I don't own a P3AT, but as a general rule, I never carry firearms in such a way that does not protect the trigger guard. Which means I might use that pocket clip, but in conjunction with one of these:
Which is actually available for the P3AT:

Re: p3at clip
great idea on that trigger cover...thanks
the best thing about the p3at clip though, is that i can easily carry it with mesh shorts (my summer preference) and i am not sure what i would "anchor" the paracord to with that device. ill have to look into it though!Montani Semper Liberi
