xdm 9mm to 40

[357Boom]

Hello all. I see there are 40 to 9 kits. I do not see any 9mm to 40 s&w kits.
Can I just get a new xdm barrel and mag in 40?


I am not a gun smith by any means. All my work and most cleaning I get done by pros.

Any ideas or help?

9mm to 40cal cannot be done. Only the other way around.

It can only be done 40-357 or 40-9 or 357-9 or 357-40 because a 40 has a larger breech face for the round and large hole in the slide for the barrel. The 9mm conversion barrels are as wide as a 40 barrel but with a smaller hole.

Thank you for your answers. Next pistol purchase will be .40. I will make a point of looking for the kits first.
