LTCF Change oF Address

I recently moved to a new address in Uniontown from Pittsburgh and called my old sheriffs office in Allegheny County asking about if I had to change my address. The guy I spoke with on the phone after asking the same question to a woman in the background said "Yes sir you do need to contact us if you have an address change" and proceeded to take my new address verbally over the phone and put it into the system.

I asked him after I gave my new address if I needed to get an updated copy of my LTCF and if I was still legal to carry concealed if my address didn't match, he said I was not required to have the updated copy until it was time to renew, and that if I was stopped by an LEO's that the change in address would be in the system if and when they would run their check on it. Obviously when I renewed the updated address would come with the new card.

I guess just FYI to anyone that was wondering about this, but then again it may already be common knowledge. If anyone knows for SURE if this is incorrect, please let me and others so I can call back and have this corrected.
