IDPA Classifier

I was thinking of entering a sanctioned match this year, but I have not been classified yet. I know that most of the clubs in eastern PA run classifiers in the spring, but I wanted to know if anyone knows of ones coming up in the next couple of months? Or if special ones are being arranged?

Your best bet may be to just contact your local club's match director and ask. I know we've set it up at Lewistown before because someone was in a similar situation and ask us if we would be running one.

Other than that, it's a drive for you, but I know Hollidaysburg is going to be running one sometime soon.

Is the sanctioned match you're planning on entering the Liberty Match at Lower Providence?

I'm new to IDPA but kind of want to try and make the mad dash of joining IDPA and getting classified by the Sept. 14 cutoff date. It is a long shot, but I would like to give it a try.

Like they already said, if you talk to the match director a week or two before a match sometimes they will run one. I don't know of any scheduled. Try checking nepaidpascores.net, they have most of the local club's listed with match dates.

I joined IDPA in mid June and missed all the local qualifier matches as well. Hoping some pop up in the fall so that I can shoot them and ge them out of the way.

Talk to Xanathar. I got a message they are running one this Sunday @ New Holland. Unfortunately I can't make it.

Please note, we are NOT running the classifier at NHRPC this Sunday as a match. I had a special request for a shooter, and will be running 1-3 people AFTER the match.
