Default John Robinson at Classic Pistol

I recently had two (somewhat minor) gunsmithing jobs completed by John at Classic Pistol in Southampton. I thought John to be professional and personable and I was very happy with the outcome of the work. Both jobs were done at a fair price and in a very reasonable time frame. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

John has indeed moved on to Clayton's.
I am working in his former shop at Classic Pistol on a part time basis.

Hi cdi - does that mean you're working on fitting my AWC suppressor to my Vector Uzi? I dropped it off there two weeks ago. What a bummer waiting 8 months for the suppressor & then it doesn't even fit!

I just got a call from Classic this morning. Your Uzi is waiting for me.
Sorry for the delay, the storm knocked out power to ye old gunsmithy for a week.

I am in the process of catching up on gun work and cleaning up storm damage.
I should be caught in a couple weeks.

They just called you today? They've had the gun for three weeks! Well, I guess they probably tried but you had no power.

Thanks for the update, I appreciate you keeping me in the loop. I was ready to call them soon to see what was up, since I haven't heard a peep out of them.

Hope everything pulls through fine for your shop. So, it won't be another week until you get to it? Oh well, I've already waited about eight months for the suppressor paperwork, what's another 5 weeks? LOL

I'll PM you my phone number in case you have questions. Thanks and take care!

    CDI,
What's your wait time for jobs dropped off at classic? I know John was always really busy, so am wondering how backed up you are with the storm and only working there part time. I just dropped off my new rife today to have a permantly attached muzzle break removed, and hope am hoping not to be without my new toy too long .

Good to hear it's you taking over the gunsmithing there; I've read some good things about your work. I was worried leaving my rifle there not knowing who was going to be taking care of my baby.

I can not predict the wait time yet- I'm still getting my feet under me there.
John was always very busy- and there full time.

The storm has put me back quite some but I expect to be at Classic tomorrow or Friday- I'll have a look at your rifle.

In the interest of saving time, some of the work from Classic gets logged into my bound book and is completed here.

I will call you at the contact info you left at Classic as soon as the work is complete.
