I saw your V on the counter when I went in. I was also looking at the T/C contender on display. Just a little too expensive for a wall hanger, but it was a good looking gun. I asked him on a timeline and he said it would be a while since he was looking at getting a whole bunch of guns together for reblueing. He stated that I would have them back in time for hunting season. LOL. We'll see how he does on these guns.

I've seen pleanty of wheel guns go in and out of the shop when Chad worked there, but the old man owned it. Imagine he was the one doing the work on them? I also saw some in the display case when I stopped by on Friday. The timing issue, unless it's an early H&R, shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure the cost to fix it doesn't surpass the value of the gun. If it does, make it a walnut cracker and go find another one at a local auction.

The only blueing i had done by Chad was on a replacement Marlin Large loop lever..

It was new and did not match my rifle.
Very pleased with the job....

Cannot answer for...a restoration job

Well. I dropped those rifles off in April and just called and the estimated completion date is Mid Aug. Just an update.
