Assistance Request.

I have a cousin that lives in Erie (near the Yacht Club) that has a 13 year old son. My Son (USMC) sent his him a couple pairs of BDU's etc. for playing airsoft that brought up actually shooting.

I mentioned that at 13 My son was competing in both NRA & CMP events. and explained that the cost isn't monetary (.22 is cheap) but time, but the 'father/son' time can never be replaced.

So, long story short, I'm looking for someone with a club membership, etc. that would be willing to take them under you wing for an outing to get some trigger time at a range.

I'm willing to paypal the money to cover a brick of .22LR if you have a rifle for them to plink with.

If I weren't at the other end of the state, I would do it for the joy of introducing another shooter to the sport.

I'm in Erie, but have an unpredictable schedule.
Contact Gem City http://www.gemcitygunclub.org/ they may be able to help.
If he's available on short notice we may be able to work something out, or almost any Sunday morning, my favorite time to go to the range.
I don't have a .22, but I'm pretty sure I can borrow one.
The guys at Walnut Creek http://walnutcreekrifleclub.com/ may also be able to help, and are closer to the Yacht club area.
He really should take a safety course ASAP.

I do have a single shot 22 that I can loan you. It isnt pretty but it is accurate. I would rather get it back uncleaned, I'll clean it myself. PM me if you need it.
