OC/CC Meet & Eat: Parkesburg/Gap area for lunch

Well, this time I'll try to plan something with more advanced notice!

I'd like to have a Saturday lunch gathering on August 25. We can discuss an exact time and place in the thread. But I wanted to let people have enough time to clear their calendars. LOL.

I was thinking either 12:00 noon or 1:00pm. Which would be better for the majority here?

I was thinking of either trying Dyer's Deli again (good food and good prices) or maybe the Pizza Box (great pizza and good prices). Or you can suggest a different place, of course....

Let's discuss and plan this! I'm hoping for a good turnout.

I seem to think we've something going on then, but I logged a reminder.

Timing is open here, usually have Junior through the afternoon.


It's been MANY years, but the Pizza Box was once used as a braking component for one of the rigs coming down the hill.

eta: That's right, that's the weekend of the Scroggy A.B.A.T.E. event.

I love Bravo Pizza there in the shopping center, but they don't have much in the way of more than 4 person seating.

I have never been there in the more distant past to make a comparison to now, but we LOVE their pizza and other menu items.

I've spoken with the owner about a gathering and he's definitely good with it. He said come on over any time. So, I'm leaning towards Pizza Box for the location.

I should have qualified that its only what I've been told- I haven't eaten there yet.

Sorry for my recent absence. We lost internet for a while at home.

Anyway, I'm still planning on going. My wife probably not due to her work schedule that morning.

It would be nice to get a headcount idea.

The owner of the place told me he'll give us a 10% discount for our group.

Bring your appetite! They make excellent pizza and stromboli, as well as other items!

Location has been set for Pizza Box in Gap. Time will be from noon until ??
