Talking Talk me out of it

In my misspent youth, I was infatuated with the notion of one day owning an Ingram Mac 10. Years went by, and I matured and bought sensible guns, never buying one simply because it "looked cool." True, at times I had to rationalize a purchase as "in case of global anarchy", but on the whole, I stayed sensible. But then, at a gun show, there she was. A Cobray pre-ban M11. I can't justify this gun, but it beckons. Somebody talk me out of it.

If you already have what you need, and have the wherewithal to get what you want, what is holding you up? I just bought a Desert Eagle a little while ago because I have been admiring them for 20 years (no video game thing for me). It is not exactly practical, but it sure is a lot of fun. And I already have practical pretty much nailed down.

I was going to suggest the M11 instead of the Mac 10. I don't own either but I've got a friend that owns both.

The Mac 11 is smaller and has a faster rate of fire. It's a lot more fun in my opinion.

Here's the best advice and all the help I can give: Buy it!

For the valuable service that I just provided, all I ask in return is that you let me mash the trigger on a few 32 round mags if our paths ever cross at a group shoot or something. See what a nice guy I am?

i say go for it, if things would get bad down the road money wise for you its not like you won't beable to sell it for more than you paid. NFA firearms can be quite an investment
