    Default Waiting for a PPQ

I'm on a waiting list for a Walther PPQ 9mm and I can't wait for it to come in. It gets great reviews everywhere. The only place around here that has them is Gander, so I got to check it out but they want $200 more that retail. Most shops are selling for almost $100 under retail. Crazy.

Anyone here have any feedback on the PPQ? Thanks!

There is a PPQ thread here somewhere in this section of the site.

Edit: Of course search function is crippled with the 4 character requirement, so looking up "PPQ" is pointless. Contact JustinHEMI, I believe he did a review of one here.

I know you dont live near me, but a small shop here sells them for $510. You cant find another shop nearby to save some money? I assume that $510 is a good price for that gun, as I am considering one also. The .40 is the same price as the 9mm. gander Mtn is way overpriced, but if you have no choice........meh
You are only here for a short while, make it fun

I bought one in .40 cal about a month ago for $499.

It is by far the best trigger on any gun I own, except for a revolver that I had a custom trigger job done on.

You will love that gun, I promise! Check out the youtube videos if you get a chance.

If you get down near Topton Pa, stop in the Handgunner shop and ask for Randy.

I love mine. It replaced a Glock as my EDC.

Tanner's had a .40 S&W PPQ for $509 on Saturday. I didn't notice any 9's in the case, but it might be worth a call.

I have been considering the PPQ. I have yet to shoot one but liked the grip feel. Also have noticed the amount of great reviews. A local shop has a couple of them for $499

Just my opinion but I bought a PPQ in .40 for my daughter. We took it out and I really liked it, great trigger, grip fits my hand, the magazine release takes a little getting used to but it would be hard to accidentally release the magazine. Once used to the magazine release, I don't think I'd go back.

I liked it so much I bought JustinHemi's, now there are 2 in the safe, the daughters and mine. Just wished someone would come out with a .22 adapter for it.

    I found Justin's range report: http://forum.pafoa.org/pistols-41/16...ge-report.html

If you don't mind online Firearms shopping, buds has them. They have been pleasant for me to use so far.
