Dreams where your firearm malfunctions?
Every couple of months I'll have a dream in which my ccw FTF, has a 200lb trigger pull, or parts of the gun fall off as I draw it in an emergency. Any insight, thoughts, or similar experiences from you guy?
Doesn't matter what ccw I'm using either, my glock or sig. And I can always remember thinking in my dream that This shouldn't be happening with a _______ or my _______.Emergency Medicine prevents natural selection

All kinds of dreams here: http://forum.pafoa.org/lounge-108/11...ghlight=dreams

Glad I'm not the only one. I have also had dreams where my bullets don't do anything to the monster/attacker. Those suck.
There's no such thing as a free lunch.

I know! I've had the 500lb trigger pull too! And its like I either can't or can barely pull it with both hands. Meanwhile I'm usually getting shot at during this time :/. Sometimes a gun just doesn't work at all, but that's more rare.

Re: Dreams where your firearm malfunctions?
I have had similar dreams too.
I have found that a range trip where I practice with an emphasis on defensive drills is usually the cure.
From what I understand, these dreams are often the result of the animalistic part of our brain trying to encourage the more logical and conscious parts of our brain to get us to practice more. I don't know if it is always right, but it does fit my experiences.

Re: Dreams where your firearm malfunctions?
Lately all I have been having are dreams where I am OCing. I'm even having these dreams where I am back in the house I grew up in in Baltimore- and I am OCing on the property. It's been a few weeks since I had to draw on someone or something.
LOL, I am a woman...

In mine the gun fires but direct hits don't faze the threat.

In mine the firearm has a massive FTF and is all but usless except as a bludgon. I hate those.

Re: Dreams where your firearm malfunctions?
I read once (probably on here) that dreams where you can't pull the trigger may mean you are facing a difficult decision in your life. I've had them, but can't say I've noticed a correlation.
