    Yes.
Contact Brian at EFR (he is a member here).

We talked about this a couple weeks ago. Expect the face of the cylinder and the exposed barrel at the forcing cone to be effected.

I don't know where you're located but if you're in the York PA area Ballistikote is a member here and does a great job cerakoting all types of firearms.

Cool, I have an 870 that is constantly getting rusty. I need to fix it permanently. I'll have to see if he can do it

There is also a guy at BGS that is a CertifiedCerekote spoecialist, his name is Bob. Just over the Pa line in Taneytown, Md. About 5-6 miles from Gettysburg, you can call him at BGS 410 756 5454 I have seen his work nd it is great looking. He just completed a digicam AR-15 in 4 color camo that is really really cool looking and a few pistols. Give him a ring if you ae fairly close to his area.

Just curious, but by how much? I'm sure there are some tight gapped guns that it will really effect. But it should be easy enough to remedy, right?

    I have a Rossi 68(basically a J frame) that I am considering having Cerakoted.

Brian will have an answer for you.
In a high-pressure area like that, I would expect the coating to start chipping after less than 25 rounds.
How far the chipping will go, I could not say as I do not have any revolvers here with that coating.
I can say, the muzzle of the FAL Brian did for me has shown no cutting of the finish after approx. 150 rounds.

I certainly don't want to answer for the professionals, but would those areas be better off left uncoated perhaps?
