Carbine is a blast to shoot. Low recoil. I have about 800 trouble free rounds through it of varying brands of FMJ ammo, mostly 115 gr stuff.

Definitely drop that Mk II into a Boyd's Tacticool stock. Makes a HUGE difference. Just be sure to order the trigger guard and plate for it. If you choose to go this route, PM me. I have the part number for the screws you have to order from Savage (longer action screws)

How much do those JR carbines go for, if you don't mind my asking?

    I'm digging it.
