    Is there some reason in specific why you want to get a .40? Have you ever shot one before? The G23 is a good gun, just like all of Glock's products. I'm not really sure what your question is.

    I would go with something that you can easily interchange magazines with. You can put your G17 mags in a G19 or a G26. Why go with a different caliber?

    Cut the 17 down to take 19 mags;

    I tried cutting down my 26 to take the 33 round magazines, didn't have much luck.

    Get the 19 & 26 they are probably 2 of the top sellers.

    I think it might have had something to do with the size of your image...

    Get the 23, I'm sure you'll like the 40 s&w. If you don't, just drop in a 9mm barrel and mag.

    Glock makes the parts as so several aftermarkets do.

    If you have a G17 the G19 would be the natural CC buy because the 17 mags will fit the G19 for range work. BUT the advantage of the G23 is that a 3rd party in 9mm or 357 sig barrel will give you 3 calibers. If that not a interest to you the G19 is the sure bet.

    Agreed. That's the way I went. I got the G23 and sent it Robar to have the grip angle modified (dare I say corrected? ), then got the 9 mm and 40 conversion barrel for it. I relaod and wanted to be able to do so for the Glock so I carry the factory barrel but shoot the replacment barrels at the range, except when carrying 9 mm. It a pretty flexible platform you can work you way into.
