    Default Another Odd Ball

Besides acquiring "nice" guns - I do like the odd balls. Decided to pick up this 4 barrel pepperbox to add to my COP 4 barrel pistol A cheap gun, but it locks up tight, all parts in good shape, just some cosmetic issues with grips. I have found several places that sell grips for it surprisingly, reproductions and originals. It's a Mossberg Brownie knockoff, considered a cheaply done one that EIG had made in Germany, Italy and Japan - mine is from Italy. Although a "cheap" copy, mine seems to be in very good mechanical condition, and will be nicer with some oem replacement grips. On to the next "find"

    Caliber?

How do you engage each chamber? Does it shoot all 4 at once or one at a time?

PA1936MN - here are some great pictures of another one: EIG Italy 4 Shot Derringer 22. It appears to be a .22 Caliber.

Yes, sorry - this one is a 22. Rotating firing pin which fires one barrel at a time.

If it fired all four at once I believe it would be a machine gun under federal law.

Got those oem replacement grips, ahhh, what a new set of grips will do. Adds at least twenty bucks to the value of this beauty - lol

That's pretty cool. I love seeing the oddballs, though never seem to find any when I'm looking. Amazing that someone makes replacement grips for it.

Some places make replacement replica grips for this gun, but in black ( even though the gun never came with black grips as far as I can see ! ). I found a guy on ebay that got a bunch of these guns that didn't work any longer and he salvaged the grips that were in great shape
