Unfortunately, in todays society, the feel good type of people will want to compensate her for her loss.

I say, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. One less person preying on the populace.

Kind of crazy if she was the only person suing..

But a police officer that was shot at the time is also suing the department and seems to support some of the mother's claims.

So what are the thoughts on the officer that was also shot at the same crime scene? Unfortunately shot by his fellow officers. I wonder if his concerns about the lack of training or ineffective training is all documented prior to this incident?
