LTCF Wait Time

Hi all. Just figured I'd post to give a current wait time for a LTCF to be issued in Lehigh County from sheriff Rossi's office. June 30th I turned 21 and today, July 2nd I turned in my application. I will reply back with when I receive my license in the mail. I was told 30-45 days from the lady in the office.

Received today in the mail. Exactly two weeks from time of applying.

"It" being the firearm(s) he carries via the LTCF. I.e. hopefully he won't be in a situation he will need to use a firearm.

I submitted my renewal december 18th of last year in Lehigh County and had it before Christmas!

15 days for me as well. References were not contacted.

Submitted my application on December 18th, 2012. Bank showed my check cashed on the 19th. Received my license in the mail on January 29th, 2013. That's 41 days I believe. (Cutting it close?) Upon closer inspection, the license was actually "issued" on January 4th. What took so long to mail it out?
I have no idea.

My guess is they're slammed during this rush. When I dropped off my application there was a steady line of people handing in their applications as well.

Figured I'd give a heads up on what to expect for those applying "during the rush." Carry on!

My wait time was right up to the threshold, too. Newly licensed in January. Yes, they are backed up, and will tell you so upon applying.
