    Default Freedom Munitions .308

Has anyone used Freedom Munitions .308 ammo ("blaster" grade or others) in a hunting rifle? How did it work?

I have a ton of their blaster and I have shot maybe 80 rounds of it so far. At 25, 50, and 100 yards, its pretty accurate!

Thanks for the reply... what type of gun are you shooting? I'm going to try the .308 blaster ammo, but with shipping, it doesn't pay to buy a small amount. I'm curious how some of their other .308 loads work as well and maybe include those in the order.

I've run the Freedom Munitions 150gr Blaster, 168gr match reloaded and 175gr match reloaded through my Remington 700 SPS Tactical AAC, all at 100 yards. My gun didn't seem to like the 175gr much, as it consistently shot low and a bit less accurately, but I don't think that's the round's fault, likely just too high of a bullet weight for my gun's rifling.

The Blaster was surprisingly good, actually. They're not aesthetically the best, and will have some small dings and marks that would cause some people to steer clear, but they all worked well for me. 168gr was marginally better than the Blaster, in my experience, but if all you're doing is plinking, then by all means get the Blaster.
