    Smile Wicen's.

Went to Wicens today. Man what a change from what it use to be. Very safe now. Range masters are very friendly. Just a good time there today.

Thanks! Big Joe put lots of money and efforts to make it as safe as possible. I'm happy that you liked it.

Yes, many changes and very safe to shoot. Although, of all the times I've been up there when Frank and Steve ran the show, may they rest in peace two of the nicest old timers I've known, there was never an incident on the range. Believe me, if you were doing something wrong, Frank would definately let you know it. Joe is doing a good job filling their shoes.
Shooting is, as it has always been, the fabric of America!

I've mentioned it elsewhere but I'll mention it again. Incredibly generous RCOs. A lot of them are NRA instructors who get paid to teach, but they also give away one hell of a lot of help, advice, and training. I've on several occasions seen them lend their personal guns (and even give away ammo) to a client or group. Little kids who come with dad who's shooting his 1911 get offered a chance to shoot a .22 that they can handle, and they get a bit of free instruction. If something isn't going right, just ask for a little help; you'll get it.

My point exactly. (And I think I know who you mean, but he'll have to ID himself.)

Although as of last week I'm a BCF&G member for proximity, hours, and price reasons, I will continue to visit and support Wicen's. There are things I can do there that I can't at BCF&G, such as shooting .22 carbine/rifle and pistol from the same bench, and adjusting target stand distances to my liking. But above all, Wicen's needs to exist, and I'm happy to support that.

Unless someone bought himself new HK it should be Sam or Ron. The latter usually works at the rifle range, so I guess it was Sam

I just checked out their website and it looks like a nice place. Next time i'm out that way I might just have to stop in. I did noticed one thing on the site that I didn't like
LADIES - Please DO NOT Wear Short Shorts or Low Cut Shirts to the range as you could be injured by a hot casing burning your skin.
