Does anyone close have a shotgun mag tube dimple raiser?
So, as the title suggests, I am looking to borrow a 12 gauge mag tube dimple raiser. Damn Remington. Yes, I am aware that I can Dremel them out and I am also aware of the Craftsman 11/16 deep well socket method. I do not want to use either method as I have heard of some horrific results using both. That being said, I have no idea what skill the users of those methods had. I am iin no hurry to get this done, so I thought I would ask. So, if anyone within an hour or so of Erie, or anyone in the Pittsburgh area has one that I could borrow for five minutes, let me know. I make it to Pittsburgh on a regular basis. Let me know what kind of beer you like and maybe we can work something out.

Disregard, I used a Dremel tool with a sanding drum. Worked like a charm.

I'm not understanding the issue with the socket, i did that with mine, and it turned out beautifully, and took less than 10 minutes to swage the dimples back out... but, whatever works
the socket method was much cleaner ... make sure you deburr the hell outta them dimple holes, you don't want the spring or a shell rim hanging up."Oderint Dum Metuant" - BMFH
