    Default pistol storage thrd 2

i did'nt want to hijack the "rack" thread.
for those that have a few pistols, how do you stow them?

i'm currently at 20 pistols, and they are presently stacked little better than cord wood about the place.

what kind of setup do you have for mass pistol containment?
it's only metal, we can out think it....

The same as you, stack'em high! Actually, I have a plastic covered wire pot lid rack I got at a tru-value hardware the I use for a bunch of the small handguns, it holds up to a small frame 4" revolver.

You can hang pistol inside teh safe door by using display plate holders from Wal Mart. I hang 4 that way.

I feel for you, I now have several oiled and in silicone socks "touching" eachother so they all can fit. It is a PITA. I am thinking that it may be time and break down and get another safe, But I dont have room for another safe,
I took an entire closet in the basement garage/ground level and installed a 15 door gym locker with 16 keyed alike locks, One on the closet door, and store my ammo there.
I was in a place where they had about 50 handguns hanging from the ceiling from metal hooks, It was a good look, But doesnt work for me,
I will keep watching these threads for good ideas! I currently have 5 guns for sale to help with the issue!

This is not my set up but I am thinking of this in the near future for my gun safe! I think it is pretty nice looking, just using thread spools.

Also, noticed this in the last Cabelas Shooting/Reloading catalog. Kinda pricey but nice.
