If you do any volume just buy a Dillon 1050 progressive. It swages while you load. Screw the extra step. Besides 45 and 9mm also come crimped and load them on it too.

Ok. Maybe thats overkill for some of you guys.

When I get my Dillon Blue Press catalog I always salivate over the 1050 (after I salivate over the Dillon girls).

But at almost two grand plus and about $150 per caliber change then even more for different primer sizes / spare shell plates and other accessories and it is king of out of my league (just like the Dillon girls).

Guess I am a 550B and slightly chunky girl kind of guy............But absolutely no complaints!

I looked into the 1050 but decided on the 650. The 1050 doesn't have the lifetime no bs warranty that Dillon is famous for.

Trust me I know it. But I have bought alot of aftermarket parts that are actually better than the original Dillon stuff. Main spring, shell plates, and detent ball were huge upgrades. Spent primer drop tube was also a plus. The rest is pretty in destructable besides the built in swage rod. But I have a lathe and machine my own replacements.

My 650 is set up as a dedicated brass processing plant for 223 and making 300 blackout brass. The RT1500 case trimmer is king.

Happy for you guys, but I'm like Delkal; a 550B kinda guy, but like the Dillon kinda girls anyway.
