Re: open carry harrassed by cop
I suggest you get the dashcam video if it exists, and then contact Kim Stolfer at FOAC.

Re: open carry harrassed by cop
There WERE two infractions originally issued on this thread, the first one, the user has apparently chosen to delete his post instead of showing the shame of having an infraction on it. Jaybell then issued a warning about that kind of behavior that prompted the infraction. A second user that did the exact same thing that got the first post infracted.
Hope that clears it up.Rules are written in the stone,

Ah, thank you streaker69. That does indeed clear things up. Otherwise it just looked like an obstinacy issue.
Popichak is probably trolling this for his next story...

Re: open carry harrassed by cop
I spoke to an EPD officer at the Erie gun show last fall, about OC. He told me to CC. If they saw me, or got a MWAG call, they would detain and investigate. He said he only CC's when out of uniform. He asked if I was an "activist" and that they had problems with them.
Maybe we do need an event! I doubt we'd get more than 4-5 people though.

Re: open carry harrassed by cop
Any interest? It will need to be Sunday for me. I work the other 6 days. I might be able to quit early on a Friday, not sure.
If we can't get 15-20 it's not worth much, just looks like a couple troublemakers on the news.

Re: open carry harrassed by cop
I have a place in warren county and frequently go to Erie from there. It's something I could be interested in. 3 hour trip, and I get to meet some other users and be part of the cause to raise awareness. I OC every day, and not a single negative LEO encounter.
These officers need to be taught a lesson!

Re: open carry harrassed by cop
yes, if someone is stupid enough to ignore a posted warning then commits the same behavior, dont be surprised when an infraction happens.
in the future, message the staff with questions, instead of hijacking a thread with off topic postings.... thanks.
also note about 5 other grammar nazi troll posts were deleted from this thread... the offense : trolling : instigation."Oderint Dum Metuant" - BMFH
