Re: Palmyra Sportsman's
I got my card a couple weeks ago. I've been there shooting the last two weekends and I'm going again this weekend. It's a 45 minute drive for me, but it's worth it. I just take lots of guns and lots of ammo so that I can spend enough time to make it worth the drive!
The indoor pistol and small bore rifle ranges are great for when the weather is cold. I wish the indoor pistol range had a target return so that when there are multiple shooters they didn't have to all shoot at the same distance to the target, but I guess those systems are probably pretty expensive.
But the #1 reason I love this club is the action handgun range. I threw over 300 rounds into the steel plates and bowling pins last weekend through my 1911. Steel plates are SO fun!

Re: Palmyra Sportsman's
I'll be there sometime on Saturday with guns and the bows with the wife. I wonder how expensive it'd be to put a pulley system in and have targets run out by hand on a rope/line/something??? Something like that should be able to be installed on all lanes for less than $200...

Re: Palmyra Sportsman's
No it's ok, I just didn't know what you meant. It's funny, she (the wife) wants to compete at everything. It's fun. My buddy was in for 8 years and did multiple tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kosovo for his major stuff. He was stationed in Germany when he wasn't on a tour, so I haven't seen him much over the last 8 years since we graduated high school. I got to go to Germany a couple times with school and saw him each time and he gets back on leave for a couple days at a time. He married a German girl, so I don't know if he'll be coming back to the states permanently any time soon.
