Question about firearm purchase for my vacation home

Hi, I live in NYC Queens right now and also have a driver license with a nyc address. My family and I are looking for a vacation home in Shroudsburg Penn close to the poconos. We are going to buy the vacation home very soon. I was at a gun store in Long Island NY about a month ago, they ran a NICS background check on me and I was fine. I could've paid and walked out with a long gun. I was arrested a year ago but was never convicted of a misdemeanor or felony. I was convicted of a violation which was disorderly conduct. My lawyer said it's the equivalent of a traffic ticket. Like I said last month the gun store in long island ran the NICS background check and I was fine. So my question is, will I be able to goto lets say Cabela's and buy a long gun after another NICS background check and walk out the store with it? Keep in mind I have a NY driver license with a NYC address. Also, what about a pistol if I'm able to buy and walk out with a long gun will i be able to do the same with a pistol? If not, what do i need? My last question is, Do you think I'll be approved for a concealed carry permit with my situation? I do not have a Penn driver license, only NY, thanks in advance for any help and advise.
