I think most high quality .45 auto sound suppressors are full auto rated, so they go either way. I picked up a Kriss SDP in May and I'm planning on an AAC Tirant45. I'd like a quiet dry suppressor, and from what I've heard and read at silencertalk.com and silencerforum.com, that's the one for me. From what I've read you require a bushing instead of the booster on the Tirant.
Which Model Kriss vector did you get? My SDP has some problems so I sent it back to Kriss USA today

I have the Kriss Vector SBR. I was looking at the AAC Tirant and the Osprey, but someone told me the ones for an smg are quieter. I have over 250 rds thru my Kriss and no problems.

The two you have picked are 2 of I think three hearing safe cans in 45ACP. Both will be excellent choices.

I agree....Tirant or osprey. No need for a smg can if your not shooting full auto.

The 9mm Osprey is full auto rated, the 45 is not. The 45 will handle mag dumps, just make sure you let it cool down a bit between dumps.
That info is straight from Joshua at SilencerCo.

Either choice you make, you are not making a bad one.

My vote is .45 Ti-RANT. It's a great can. As said you'll simply need the correct threaded booster (M16x1LH the same as HK's) and you also need the 'fixed barrel spacer' which goes in place of the spring in the booster.
