Default Got a good deal on a Glock 17 today

Was at the range today practicing and picking up some brass to reload.Told the owner that I was thinking about getting a couple of Glocks in the next week. He asked what I was looking for and I told him a 17 and 22 in Gen 4. He said to wait while he looked up the serial number of one of the 17's he had in the case. He came back and told me that he can sell me one for $495.00 because it was a return that was never fired. Turns out some guy bought it and brought it home, wife found out and kicked him out. Gun has never been fired. Think I made out pretty good on that deal!

Meh. Was that the OTD (out the door) price? [bubble-bursting moment] A few weeks ago I bought a real NIB Glock 17 3rd gen for $425, plus $25 shipping, plus $25 for local FFL to receive/NICS totalling $475 OTD.

Yeah gun prices are relatively low here and most G17 4th Gen are $585 plus some change here. So you did get a good price on that one. Range report tells how it shoots and post some targets.

    I'm not a Big Glock fan but I do like them I have 3 G19,G23 & G21sf.

Thats a steal for a Gen 4! You got it for a Gen 3 price. I would be happy with your purchase.I'm kicking around getting a .45 caliber glock. I love my g19 gen 3 but have been spoiled with a 1911 trigger. Its a pain to carry a full size 1911 at times though.

You did alright . If my wife ever kicked me out because of guns , I would send her a post card of where ever I ended up and say " Have a good life " .

I only know one dman and don't want to be some one I don't know how to be. What you see is what you get , take it or leave it .

Never trust a woman who dont want you to have a gun. THey know why they dont want you to have a gun because they know who they are,.

"some guy bought it and brought it home, wife found out and kicked him out. Gun has never been fired."

I would have kept the Glock and gave you a good deal on the wife!
Seriously though , I usually have the opposite problem, my wife thinks any new toys are for her. Gotta luv her.
Good deal BTW, and good luck.
