Possible meet and eat at Jock and Jill's in East Stroudsburg

Is anyone interested in a meet an eat. I would suggest that we do it soon before they prohibit OC.

Do not confuse grasshoppa'....Jock and Jill's is on Main Street in Stroudsburg. I can also tell you that one of the Main Managers there is not a big proponent of the 2nd Amendment so carry at your own risk.

The wife and I usually sit in the Grace O'Mally's "section".
I have been OC in there many times (I know this doesn't mean the establishment condones it) but as of yesterday there has been no specific prohibition. Maybe if they see that no children or old ladies are harmed they may not ban OC.

Stopped in at Jock and Jills (CCing) to check it out. Had a beer and the Southwestern soup. Very good and thick enough to be a stew. The barmaid and I got to talking about the sale paper from Dunks that I had. One .380 was designated a "zombie slayer" and I remarked that it a bit light to kill the undead again. Talked about autos v revolvers, snubs v longer barrel revolvers for beginners and ammo. I had a speed strip in my back pocket and showed her a hollow point and she remarked that she thought they were illegal. I told her that is not so in PA but very much so in NJ. She is considering buying a hand gun for the home, not for carry. I steered her towards a 3" or a 4" revolver as she is a beginner and the larger revolver is easier on recoil than a snub, more accurate and carries 6 rounds. Anyway, some of the wait staff is not anti gun. Nice place. See you Sat at noon.

Hollow points are not illegal in NJ. you can buy and own them in your home or shoot them at the range. if you however get one of the mysterious carry permits in NJ you can not carry them that way.

I am still unsure if I will be able to make it this Saturday, but it is still a possibility!
