Scheduling: MEET AND EAT - The Court Diner in Media, PA (DelCo)

Hey everyone,

Our last OC Meet and Eat was a huge success and it really brought everyone together. In the same spirit, let's have another, this time at a place that has not only has great food and awesome service, but seem to support what we do!

For those who are unfamiliar with what I mean, check out this thread for a few details on what happened. The short version is, I was eating dinner with my girlfriend when another patron called 911, and somewhere between him reporting something he mistakenly thought was illegal and the police getting there, the broadcast went out as "a subject with a cocked gun, pointing it at people and threatening them." The wait staff (and other nearby patrons) were very confused and found the whole thing to be ridiculous, and (the caller being an exception) have no problem with OC whatsoever.

Also, their spaghetti and meatballs is off the chain!!

Anyway, let's settle on a date. June 30th or July 7th - vote on the poll!! The best time to get there would probably be around 3:30 or 4:00, to try and beat the big Saturday dinner crowd.

After a couple of days I will firm up the date with the diner and post an event page, and pass along the information.

I picked the 30th, but I don't think I have anything planned for either date, so the 30th won because it's closer.

Are you planning on inviting the sarge? I'm thinking he needs to see this. :devil:

I vote for June 30. It is a hike but we need to show the flag. I used to be involved in an auto rally that ended at a restaurant in the Poconos. We always advised the ownership of the date, time and expected attendance so they could be sure to have enough wait staff on hand for an unexpected 20-30 people.

Ok, two people say they voted for June 30th, I voted for the 30th too but results say only 1 for June 30th...so something's fishy here, you geezers sure you clicked the right option? :-P
