June Practical Rifle Shoot at LRGC

The title of our June Practical Rifle Match at the Langhorne Rod and Gun Club is "when failure is not an option". Yes you guessed it, June will be the return of our failures match. In this match we will be focusing on you ability to clear your firearm after an ammunition induced failures.

Please note this is not a match for beginners. We ask that you be experienced with your firearm. Also ONLY FIREARMS IN .223/5.56mm CALIBER WILL BE PERMITTED. The below registration link will be activated at 0900hrs Sunday June 10th

Practical Rifle Registration Link

You will need at least four magazines, 120 rounds of ammo, a chamber flag, eye and ear protection and a safe attitude. We'll need you down at the long range ready to go no later than 0830hrs on Saturday June 30th. Our fee is $5.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members. We go range or shine. We have a strict limit on the number of shooting slots so don't snooze in registering if you want to join us.

Sad I missed this. Just rememebered the 10th was yesterday and hoped there would be some slots left.

In the old days you could wait a day or so and still we had slots but anymore, we are typically sold out by the afternoon of the 10th. I try to be fair to everyone and hold registeration on the same day at the same time every month. If we get any cancellations, you are first on the list!

My brother and I had a great time out today. Inducing failures was a great learning experience, especially when you have no clue when they're going to pop-up (your partner loaded the snap-caps into your mag randomly). Can't wait until the next shoot (and to see how I scored today -Jesse
