I'm a Marlin rimfire fan. It looks to be a next gen 25N but with a new type of trigger. I googled "Marlin XT Reviews" and got many hits from average folks.
They say nice things about the new trigger. I just picked up yet another Marlin 3 weeks ago (a Glenfield 25 for $100) and the trigger sucked (but nickel size groups at 50yds w/cheapo 4X scope); have found just the right lighter spring to replace the stock "coil spring from a car" and will test it today (I've bump tested it for safety, is OK). The point is- if Marlin has improved its trigger and preserved the microgroove barrel quality, the XT should be a winner.

Thanks for the reply, It is a fairly new line so it's hard to find stuff on it.

I did Google it myself, but specifically for the RO version, and didn't come up with any reviewer type reviews and only a few regular folks. Thought I'd try here.

I did read that the trigger is adjustable between 3 and 6 pounds.

I ordered one so I'll let you know.
