    Default Springfield XDs finally shipping?

    Springfield sent me an email today saying they are shipping the XDs 5+1 .45 ACP pistol.

    It's about time. Too bad for them I already bought a M&P Shield in .40

    Although... the XDs is quite a handsome little bugger.

    Anyone get one here in PA yet? A couple are posting pics of theirs on XDTalk.

    I'm on top 5 list at my gunshop - of course I've been waiting so long I spent the money on other guns - lol. But I do want it, so I'll have to scrape it together from somewhere ! Would love to hear when someone actually gets their hands on one!

    Dealers have them, and as expected, the gouging has begun, lol. And yes, some will get taken for a ride and love it. Gun should retail $479-$500 but some are selling for $700 and some auctions are up to $650+. I want one but refuse to pay $200 over so looks like I'll just wait it out . If anyone does get one, be sure to let us know what you think!

    I think I will wait it out so that if there are some bugs someone else gets to be the beta test.

    I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

    Sounds like what I'll do. I'll go to $525 or so and that's it. I get people paying a ton, if that's what you want and being first means that much - go for it. What cracks me up even more is currently on GB there are two auctions that are up to $630 and $675 even when another gunshop has a buy it now for $619 , wtf !!

    Got my hands on one - wow, if it isn't a mini PPS ! It is a beauty - you can't really appreciate how slim until you hold it. Nice front site too, really pops.

    well that would explain the price drop on the XDM 3.8 that I bought 2 days ago. Whoops.

    On the plus side it doesn't look like the package comes with an extended mag just 2 of the 5 rounders, is that correct? Maybe I'll wait till fall and see how it plays out.

    Did you get it from Mechanicsburg Ordnance? I was in there Friday and Rich was telling me he had one. Unfortunately all my money was already gone.
