Despite my current thread running about my USP .45, HK makes a fantastic firearm. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

What do you need to know about it?

The decocker if equipped is loud as hell.

If it has the proprietary rail, you need an adapter if you are going to hang anything off it.

Mags are not cheap unless you can find used LE ones.

It's a full sized large frame gun and difficult to conceal effectively by most people.

    They are durable as hell.

I'd buy another H&K in a heartbeat, but would probably go with the P30 or MK45 over an standard USP.

Yep. It's the full size 13 rounder. I wear concealed carry shirts made by craft company. Their great for the larger autos. Thanks for the input.

Well Craftintel. Was started by Chris Kyle a navy seal sniper. They train FBI HRT. Swat. Also civilians who want to learn tactical shooting. But the shirts have certain tear away buttons so you can reach your firearm quicker. Look them up. 5/11 also make these shirts. I think you'll like em.

Youtube is your friend. They are great guns but I would also suggest a newer model such as a p2000, p2000sk or P30 since they are more ergonomic and use a standard rail as opposed to an HK specific rail.
