Pike County Friends of NRA banquet held at the Matamoras Best Western on April 18 of this year was a huge success. It increased the size of the audience from last year to 150 and doubled its revenue from the event.

This means more funding for shooting activities in Pike and Pennsylvania.

The Committee is looking to expand its membership. If you are interested send an email to fnrapike@ptd.net to get on their email list for meeting info and inquiries.

Also they are running a raffle from now til the Sept. 2012 drawing. Three 1911s are up for raffle; a Kimber; a Kahr and a Remington. Only 200 tickets will be sold and they are $20.00 each.Tickets can be obtained from the Committee at fnrapike@ptd.net.

p.s. Some pafoa.org Pike forum members are now part of the committee. They get to meet fellow shooters;discuss guns and loads; find places to hunt and shoot; recommend gun stores to visit and more.

Tickets for the Pike Friends of NRA 1911 raffle can be purchased at Gold N Guns on Harford St. in Milford or Keystone Firearms on Pennsylvania Ave. in Matamoras.
