Default Re: Sending my Kel Tec PF9 for repair!! ETA on repair?

    As a follow up.

I sent my PF9 to Kel Tec on June 6th and got it back July 3rd.

I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet, but I'm confident the problem is fixed.

The changed the slide, all springs, trigger assembly is updated, the frame has been changed as well. Pretty much I got a new gun!! It's really cool. (it even looks brand spanking new).

Anyway, I'll let you know how it shoots whenever I get around to going to the range.

You got lucky, my friend sent his pf9 back in August (I think) and hes still waiting for it.

Wow, something must be wrong on that one. Kel-Tec's CS is usually pretty good. I haven't heard of them taking more than a couple of weeks. Has he been in contact with them?

+1 on that. I would have called at the 6 week mark to find out the holdup. I sent 2 KT's back. My S2K came back in 17 days and my P32 took about 3 weeks.
Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise

They said that their normal repairs were running at 8 weeks due to high volume of orders. Since I was so awesome they put a priority status on my repair (i actually just had the firing pin fly out of the gun and hit me so they freaked out probably).

I gotta say this though, the gun shoots like a charm!! Everything was upgraded! I seriously got a brand new gun! Kel Tec gunsmiths are great!!
