There is a bill in the State legislature that will override this and all laws like this. The problem is, it keeps getting delayed and every time it gets delayed the anti-gun lobby tries to add asinine amendments to it. Details here:

Good to see people active in local issues. Might as well be active at the state level too.

I have been over these types of laws with Gunlawyer001, not sure if any of you guys have seen him here on the forum. He says that all these laws are in direct violation of the state constitution and therefore null and void. There is a catch though. You have to be willing to violate them, get arrested and then be able to pay to defend yourself in court and still no guarantee you will win because the JUDGE may not interpret the law properly. Sucky situation so lets support the pending state bill while continuing to apply the pressure in the local community. Hopefully sanity will prevail over politics in both cases. Not always easy.
