Default Bright Sights Paint for LCP?

Has anybody out there painted their Ruger LCP sights with Bright Sights paint? I want to better the sights on my lcp and this looks like a pretty cheap way to accomplish that. I was planning on painting my rear sights green and my front sight orange. Any thoughts or opinions about this product or sight color pattern? Thanks

Edit: I am also looking at Nitesiters too

Nice idea but you could probably get similar results with two bottles of some outrageously colored nail polish from the dollar store. Prep the area with some acetone.

    I prefer inexpensive solutions.

I use high temp engine paint. White / red.

Tape the area off, dab into the paint you spray into a puddle, apply. Completely solvent resistant.

this paint stuff isnt that durable, atleast in my experience. On an lcp, your prob better off sending out the slide and having sights put on. The low profile of lcp sights would make it very prone to wear if you would put that bright sites stuff on when using a hoslter that touches the sights. I've used that stuff and its not that great. Id rather go with the other posters and use some bright nail polish instead.

innovative arms does a sight install but its more $$$ than nail polish if you really want better sights. I think another member had it done. He should be by to give input if you go that route.

I just picked up 2 bottles of different orange shades, 1 yellow bottle, and 1 green bottle. Tomorrow I'll clean my sights and paint them. Saturday night I'll apply a sealer coat to it. I'll try to upload a picture of it once it is finished. I'm thinking of doing a lighter shade of orange on the front sight and green for the rear sights.

That was me. I am extremely pleased with the night sights, though the epoxy finish that Innovative re-does the slide in after machining is not the most durable. After about 5 months of EDC holster carry it's showing all the usual wear marks on the corners and edges. Still, it was an excellent upgrade, the sights make a huge difference.

I also have a Crimson Trace laser on mine, and i think that's even better than the night sights.

The engine paint does not come off! Even when exposed to cleaners and oil.

I've painted several sights before. I bought some green and yellow glow in the dark paint from my local arts and craft's store. I haven't had any issues with it chipping off or anything, and it only costs a few dollars per bottle. I'm about to paint my AR's front sight as well.
