Standard transmission. As long as I am physically able to push a clutch, I'll drive a standard.

.... for the past 20 or so years I have driven trucks with anywhere from 5 to 15 gears for a living. At the end of the day when I got into my own vehicle I didn't want to shift anymore.

Currently I am driving automatic trash trucks and to be honest I love it.

That said, if you live where you get a lot of snow, stick shift is the way to go.

I prefer stick. That being said it gets old after a while. It depends on the vehicle. My girlfriend drives an 06 mazda 3 stick that is loads of fun.

When I had my 77 cutlass I loved to cruise in style with the auto.

I don't know how to vote on this.

I love stirring gears...in the right vehicle. (See SCCA)

I think all trucks regardless of size should be a stick.

I have a car that I like to drag with technically an auto tranny but with manual valve body and a B&M megashifter, this means I have to shift...it won't do it automatically.

My daily driver is an automatic...it's just easier.

So where does that leave me?

it's a multiple choice poll. My brother tried to talk me into more options but I didn't listen. Check all that apply.

Automatic in a FWD is for guys who can't drive in the snow. Real men drive RWD's with a manual.
Manual transmissions are one of the best deterrent to auto theft by joy riders.
