    Default My New Razorback

Dan Wesson produces these in small numbers each year. They are 10mm 1911s. I have to say I very much enjoyed shooting this pistol and I am very much looking forward to experimenting with various loads on the reloading press. Nice quality piece that will be staying with me.

    Approx do they run?

Also are they made in the US?

I understand DW is owned by CZ, but these are made in the US? Does the money stay here or go to there country?

Very sharp , I believe the Dan Wessons are one of the best values out there in a mid to high end 1911 pistol,10 mm whats not to like enjoy. I was just looking at a couple of different Dan Wessons myself I was thinking about getting the CCo light built on the officers frame but after looking at them there is not much size difference from the CCO model to the full size. I like the Guardian and Valor models, I sure you will enjoy that 10 mm razerback have fun. Brian / EFR

It is my understanding they run fifty of them per year. You have to jump on them quick. They are made in Norwich, NY. The employees are all there and the assembly is all done there. Dan Wesson uses a lot of other manufacturer's parts. Ed Brown, Greider, etc. I don't think there is a single piece that isn't made in America.

I am sure CZ sees corporate profits but a lot of Americans make good money off of these pistols. I am also sure a lot of Americans own CZ stock.

CZ as also invested a lot of money in machinery, etc. for the Dan Wesson line.

    Win-Win in my book.

DWA seem to makes some pretty nice 1911s, that one is really sharp. And in 10mm its a really hand cannon. What type trigger is that? And how light is it?

1911 in 10mm I never thought of that, (thinking 45acp is the way to go) but I've always liked the Colt Delta Elite and does anybody remember the Bren 10 one of Coppers introduction.

Is 10mm really equal to a 41 magnum?

    Wilson Guy, I hate you.

    Actually, I'm just jealous.

I have never seen a Dan Wesson in 10mm in any LGS. I've been looking for a CBOB for years. Considering how obnoxiously priced a used CBOB in 10mm is now, I've been looking at other 10mm pistols. Do you have a "guy" that you get these from?
