    Mike P:

    Thanks for the update.

This is a nice 45 minute motorcycle ride from our house and so it would have been disappointing to get out there ready to enjoy a day of shooting and find it closed.

I have always envisioned this little state range to be considered for cuts if it ever came to it.

The shooting area wasn't that bad but the target area left a little to be desired.

Maybe their idea of rehab is replacing the log with 10 brazillion bullet holes in it you tack your target to with one a little newer!!

So I am surprised they are rehabbing it (but thrilled they are).

Any idea what kind of improvements they are going to make?

How did a guy with a Philly address find little Pine Creek shooting range?

And thanks for the link under your name!!

    God bless!!

I don't know what improvements are planned for the range.

I've been visiting and hunting the Potter/Lycoming/Tiogacounty area all of my life and my wife and I have a house in Wellsboro, a 45 minute drive to the range as well. I usually stop at the range on the way to and from Wellsboro.

Just a heads up to anyone else heading there. The old iron bridge north of the park on Little Pine Creek road in English Center was closed Friday afternoon for structural reasons. There is ford next to the bridge, easy to cross depending on stream conditions and what you are driving. I crossed it this morning in my Jeep; the water was about a foot and a half deep and swift.

The range was busy today and the sun, brutally hot.
