Default Mossberg 500 Shotguns - Learning How They Work?

I am semi-retired and I am taking a self-passed and self-taught Armorers course on Mossberg 500 Shotguns. I hope to become a part-time light Gunsmith in the future.

There are over 60 quiz questions covering this firearm and I have answered most of them. During my study and research I am having some problems related to some of the following quiz questions. Either I am not sure of the correct answer or I have conflicting answers.

Can you help me determine the correct answers by checking my answers and correcting them if I am worng for these few 5 final quiz questions? Thanks for your help.

Note #13. What part moves the sear out of engagement with the hammer when the trigger is pulled?
    a) The safety detent plate
    b) The disconnector/trigger bar
    c) The bolt lock pin
    d) The hammer pin

Note #14. When the hammer is dropped, what happens to the action lock?
    a) It rises
    b) It moves inward
    c) It moves outward
    d) It moves downward

Note #15. When the gun is partially op-en (bolt assembly slightly rearward), what prevents the hammer from dropping when the trigger is pulled?
    a) The safety is automatically engaged
    b) The firing pin blocks the movement of the trigger
    c) The mainspring immediately looses tension
    d) The bolt slide pushes the disconnector/trigger bar down

Note #19. How does the magazine tube come out of the receiver?
    a) It does not come out, as it is permanently riveted into the receiver
    b) It simply unscrews
    c) You must drive out the magazine tube roll pins and then pull straight out
    d) Heat with a torch and bang with a hammer until the tube gives

Note #22. The two extractors should spring out a total of
    a) .030" to .035"
    b) .015" to .025"
    c) .010" to .015"

    Again, thanks for your help!

In don't know what a passing grade would be for you, but you need to review the course work and just give it your best shot, so to speak.

    Best Wishes to you.
IANAL. I don't give legal advice. I'm only stating my OPINION.
(Did I really need to say that on an Internet forum? LOL)
