New CZ75B jam in 200 rounds
I just bought a new cz75b at friday and shot in firing range for 200 rounds. but during this time it come with jam. About 3 times. the first 2 times it's not a big deal, i just pull back the slide, the the third time 2 bullets almost jam together.
The ammo brand: Remington UMC 9mm。 250 rounds for $70
The gun:CZ75B Ω。
The owner of the firing range said it's due to the bad quantity of ammo not a problem with the gun itself.
So i really need u guys help about this issue should i just take this gun back ?Last edited by razielzyc; May 14th, 2012 at 03:01 PM.

Re: New CZ75B jam in 200 rounds
Im sure you thought to clean the gun first...right? I had a few 75 b's and I had to keep the rails GREASED while I broke the gun in...( 300-500 rd's ). It should be good to go then.

A new gun is less likely to jam if you clean and lube it before using it the first time. Clean it, clean the mags, and try again before blaming anything else.

your gun has a excellent rep. and is a proven design. it goes without saying anything mechanical can have a issue but i doubt this is the case. clean, lube correctly and try again. take several different types of ammo with you to the range. imo i think it was a cleaning, lube issue or possibly a shooting technique problem. remember a limp wrist will cause similar issues.

What kind of jam? Failure to feed? Failure to eject (or eject properly)? Double feed?
Details my good man.
(Oh, two bullets almost jam together... I don't read very well.)
Did the same thing happen the other two times?Selling off a a sizeable Spyderco collection here

Yes, more information please. I own a couple of CZs and they are problem free. And you're using the Remington ammo that comes in the yellow box, 250 rounds right? I buy that stuff at Wal-Mart and use it in all my 9's, I've had no issues.

Re: New CZ75B jam in 200 rounds
Thank you for ur replay. The first and second time is failure to feed. The third time it's double feed.
Sorry English is not my first language. But thanxs for ur reply i learn the right way to describe the issue.
So do u think it's a mechanic issue or just the ammo is bad quantity.
I really appreciate your help

Is the gun brand new? Did it come with two mags and are you having issues while using both mags or just one?
