Does anybody know the owners family? What would it take if someone wanted to lease the range and keep it open?

Yeah, I know some on this forum get all bothered that Heritage isn't free and that they allow shooters from NJ (oh, the horror).

But when someone says they have "no other choice" but to go to a facility they're obviously not happy with, I thought it would be helpful to mention another option.

Heritage in Easton - Rifle Transfer Cost
I just called Heritage in Easton and the woman told me it was $75.00 to transfer a rifle plus the actual cost of shipping. Wow, I am either not aware of the current costs or this is NUTS! Last year, I did a transfer at another shop and it $25.00. Well, so much for giving the new shop some business off to my old haunts.

New gun prices were on the steep side.

I know gun rental is $12 an hour.

Just came from Heritage and got to use the range there for the first time. Range time was $20 for an hour, they do not have half or quarter hour billing. Ranges are 50 ft and the targets will run back about 15 yards. Lighting is very good and ventilation seems above average. I bought one box of 45 acp at the door, it was a little on the pricy side for the area at $24 for a box of blazer. Construction of the showroom is not finished and lots of work still going on. Was not the best day to go, as it took 45 minutes to get a lane and I was the only customer. Be prepared to fill out two pages of paperwork and watch a safety video.
I am sure that time will be less to get in after they get settled in. A range officer was present for my time in the lane, he was nice and very friendly, though he did ask me to slow down on a string of fire. I guess seven rounds in seven seconds was a too fast for him.

Well the woman who's phone number is on the card is refusing to answer or return calls.
I still have quite a few months membership left? what the heck do I do with that.

And I hope they change their minds about keeping it closed. Someone with some business sense should be able to make a good go of it.

From talking the guys down there when it was open, I think it was just the old mans "project" don't think it ever made a profit

Got some bad news, it looks like they finally shut down. For Sale signs on the doors and no body home. This sucks. I really enjoyed going when Ken was there. It wasn't the best place, but for me it was close and cheap.
