Default This article makes all OCers appear bad

Once again, this involves another man openly carrying a weapon on the streets of North Philadelphia, just like what happened earlier in the week outside Temple University Hospital.

And, like in that case, police were responding Thursday night to a complaint from the public about a gun-toting individual.

Keep your cool if approached by the PPD while OCing in Philly!

I don't think this guy makes OCers look bad (although the media is trying to draw that connection) I'm glad he didn't harm anyone before he died.

That is why I referred to the article, not the guy. The article kind of lumps anyone OCing together.

Yeah, you are correct. After reading the article I think of the guy as a criminal, not an OCer (even though he was OCing). I guess for that reason i don't consider him to be like me, and therefore he doesn't make me look bad. However as an OCer I'm obviously looking at this from a biased position.

So much for "OCers are good guys."

Pointing a gun at cops when they approach you for OCing does not make you one of the good guys. It will be interesting to see if the guy had an LTCF.

So how is someone supposed to know the difference between a Good-guy and a Bad-guy?

Yeah, that's what I'm getting. What says he's an OC guy?

I doubt any OCer would react like (they said) he did.

No mention of a LTCF . . . so where are the conclusions coming from?
Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.
