Wife got a call from the York Sheriff's office......

......on Saturday. She was told to come in and pickup her LTCF!!!

SHE ONLY SENT IT IN ON TUESDAY!!!!

Wow, I guess they figure w/all the crime here, the law enforcers could use all the help they can!

Now she just has to find the time to go pick it up!

Many counties issue immediately.

If it were a renewal, yes.

I have a family member that will be applying for her permit, I'll let everyone know how long that takes....

Oops, sorry.........it's a NEW one.

.....and in Westmoreland Co. it took about two weeks when I got my new one (over 3 years ago.)

I thought they normally mailed them out? I never heard of someone having to drive back to the courthouse to pick it up. Tell those bastards to put a stamp on it.

For mine I applied for it, and got a postcard in the mail a few days later saying I was approved. Then I went back and got my picture taken, and left with a pretty card in my wallet.

York.......must go get picture taken and pickup LTCF card.

I called the office......"be there b/4 4:15 to give ample time for processing" (Mon-Fri).

Mine, issued in Westmoreland, you had the choice of mailing in application, (paper issued thru the mail) or doing it at the office w/picture.

Here in Delaware County it takes about 90 days for them to tell you that you are approved and then you have to go to the courthouse and get it when you find the time. It's Rediculous!!!
