New in enola

Hello,

I am a new member from Enola, I am currently looking to get my carry permit, and was looking for some information. i was interested in taking a few classes to better understand gun safety and the laws of owning and operating a firearm under a concealed weapons permit.

Any information would be very much appreciated

Adams County Sport Handgunners (30-45 min from Enola) has the NRA basic pistol class coming up on June 2-3. I took the class probably 4-5 years ago, they were really great. They also do a ladies only basic pistol class and NRA personal protection in the home class.

You should check out West Shore Sportsmen Assn. Their address is in Lewisberry, but they're actually about 10 minutes from Capital City Mall taking the back roads. Their calendar shows a defensive handgun class June 2-3.

Thank you to both of you, i am definitely gonna see if i can get in the class in June you suggested jp12string. That sounds like exactly what i am looking for.

and lynnE i am more then interested in the west shore sportsman club, i do in fact believe that's the place i took my hunters safety course at, although it was years ago when i was very young so i cant be 100%

Welcome to the neighborhood. I live very close to Enola. Most of the local clubs offer classes. Other options are:

Mechanicsburg Sportsman's Associate. - close to Enola off Wertzville Rd
Carlisle Fish and Game

There is a club in Enola but I don't know if they have classes.

If you google the names all have websites with activities/classes posted.
