Help Me Pick a Pocket Revolver

Appears to be a tremendous amount of knowledge in this forum and so I am asking for your help in picking a small (pocket) revolver.

I have had full size revolvers (.357 and .44 mag) and full size pistols (40 S&W and 45 ACP)

Thinking about a revolver that my wife or I could use for CC in pocket, holster or purse (only my wife). Currently considering the following:

Ruger GP 100 3" in .357
Ruger SP 101 2 1/4" in .357
Charter Arms Bulldog 3" in .44 Special

Your feedback on the above will be appreciated. Also, is there anything else that I should consider.

Don't you know a self-defense gun should hold at least 19 rounds and have extra mags? man, only having 6 shots could put your life in danger............kidding

I like the sp101 but it's a little heavy, taurus makes a fine little revolver. Michele has one she carries and I LOVE it. S&W makes alot of little snubbies, but for the price, if I had to buy one i'd get a taurus. Also those super light jobs made of titanium and stuff kick like hell and are not fun at the range. Good to carry though.

there are other people on here that know a hell of a lot more about wheelguns than me. But I like taurus revolvers.

Not a revolver, but ever hear of L.W. Seecamp? They make really small DA autos in 25, 32, and 380 auto. Best part is all there pistols are the same size no matter what caliber.

Here's another vote for the Ruger SP101, it's a little hefty at 25oz, but that tames the recoil somewhat. I've CC'd one for awhile and have been very happy with it.

I like my Taurus M605SS. 5 rounds of .357mag and it's a blast to shoot.

Belt holster, leather Galco fletch, high ride, model FL118........very comfortable and molded especially for the SP101 snubbie......cost around $60. Take care.

Smith & Wesson re-made their model 40 revolver with the Lemon Squeezer grip and internal hammer. 21oz unloaded but only .38 special. Also very pricey - $800.

Taurus has a nice Ultralite that is 38 Special at 13.5 oz. Has a concealed hammer and can be had for less than $450. Or one at 17 oz with +P and recessed hammer for around $400.

I know some folks are huge proponents of the .32 Magnum. Taurus also has a revolver in that weighs in at 17 oz and runs around $400 or so.

The seecamp is small, but I have heard it's ammo picky. It dosn't like long bullets, they just don't fit in the mag. But I like the size.
